I also really like the title, "today I'm going to kill something. anything". I think it really shows the narrator's perspective. I especially liked the touch where you used a line from 'Education for Leisure', a poem also about playing God (though not out of curiosity, Carol Ann Duffy's poem is really quite morbid).
